The information contained on these pages was written by Hank Henderson who served aboard her.  He made and survived every patrol sailed by the Pompon during WWII.  Material has been provided courtesy of my friend Robert H. Gray MoMM3c  who served aboard her 1945-1946.  Robert passed away in 2002 so I leave these pages as a tribute to him and the men who served aboard the USS Pompon. You'll find very old and rare photos of this boat as well as synopses of all her patrols during World War II.
