Introducation
My name is Kay Collier. I am a graduate student at the University of Washington. I have designed this page to help teachers introduce the Internet to their classes and to share some of my favorite projects for geography and social studies classes. Although this page is aimed at grades 5-8, most of the resources mentioned are applicable to k-12.
Washington State will begin using the Essential Learning Requirements with the fourth grade classes in the 1997-1998 school year. Washington State ELR will link you to the ESL Home Page. I have also listed links to individual subject areas:
